We have a lot of sailing experience, but still decided, on the advice of the Eigenaaresse, to follow a brief instruction of one of the employees. After a few minutes everything felt good and we were going to go sailing, wonderful feeling and freedom. When we came back after a little 2 hours, the Eigenaaresse indicated that she had to go away, but we just had to stay chilling, pretend to be home and drink. We still enjoy a few hours in the sun on the small beach at the centre. When we went down, the Eigenaaresse told us that we had only sailed 1.5 hours and therefore $60,-to pay, super nice and you will not be dropped off. If we ever return to Mui Ne then we will definitely rent a sailboat again!!

But since it had too little wind for it and my friend has a few hours of sailing experience, we spontaneously rented a sailboat (RS Feva) for 1h (1000 ' 000 VND). This was incredibly straightforward and swift. The boats were in good condition and we were given new life jackets and sailing gloves. Since we said we had little experience, the very helpful trainer Phong came with us on the water, then left us alone after 2-3 turns. When we returned to the beach, we were still received in the water and given fresh towels and warm tea. We had fun for an hour! The sailing material was in good condition. Further facilities (shower, toilet, lockable chest) are available in a simple condition. The first sailing school (especially for children), which also informs about the consideration for the oceans is certainly worth supporting. Particularly because the waste problem/pollution of the seas in Mui Ne is unfortunately a reality and unmistakable.
We don't sail nor surf nor kite. Still, this place is exactly what we were looking for. it's quiet, directly at the beach and the never ending sound of the waves will put you to sleep gently whenever you feel like. no tourist rush there and still you have plenty of places for excellent food and coffee within walking distance. even more if you rent a scooter of course. it's not a luxury resort (no pool, no steamy hot water) but there is cold beers and soda accessible 24/7, working ac, comfy chair in front of your room with that stunning sea view, so what else could you ask for? and then there's that host. topnotch host or over the top host, ultra host, super-duper host whatever you like ;) no seriously, Julia is the most helpful and supportive person of the house we've ever had. whatever we needed, she made it happen, whatever we wanted to know, she had the answer. all other staff very friendly too. we had a really good time.
I absolutely loved this place. They rent RS Feva sailing boats in very good condition. The sea in front of the school had many wind changed and floating fish farms, which makes it perfect for good fun sailing around. The chilled atmosphere of the school is the icing on the cake. I spent quality time chatting with Julia, the owner, and her staff. Jump on a boat, get your training, if needed, then chill with them sipping a coffe and cuddling their cute dogs :) couldn't have had a better experience. Happy.
