Cary is the seventh-largest municipality in North Carolina. Venture out of the city with trips to Chapel Hill (North Carolina Botanical Garden & University of North Carolina) and Durham (Museum of Life + Science, Duke Lemur Center, &more). There's still lots to do: admire the natural beauty at Sarah P. Duke Gardens, hike along Neuse River Trail, deepen your understanding at Duke University, and learn more about the world around you at North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

For maps, where to stay, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Cary route tool.

Rochester to Cary is an approximately 5.5- hour combination of flight and car. You can also drive. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Rochester in July: high temperatures in Cary hover around 90°F and lows are around 71°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
