A major beach resort, Pecatu sits on the southern peninsula of Bali.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Tanah Lot Temple and Uluwatu Temple. You'll get in some beach time at Pantai Sanur and Padang Padang Beach. Change things up with these side-trips from Pecatu: Kuta (Kuta Beach - Bali & Waterbom Bali), Seminyak (Seminyak Beach, Spas & Wellness, &more) and Nusa Dua Beach (in Nusa Dua). A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): see the vivid underwater world at USS Liberty Shipwreck, enjoy the sand and surf at Jemeluk Beach, then indulge your taste buds at Two Eka Waroeng, and finally discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

Drive from Pecatu to Amed in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Amed can reach 36°C, while at night they dip to 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Tegalalang.

The most famous Tegalalang tourist attractions are rice terraces, forming a landscape you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere in the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Mason Elephant Park and Tirta Empul Temple. Get outdoors at Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Elephant Cave. When in Tegalalang, make a side trip to see Mt Batur in Kintamani, approximately Kintamani away. Next up on the itinerary: don't miss a visit to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, see the interesting displays at Neka Art Museum, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Saraswati Temple.
