We did the 5k trek through the jungle to the observation tour with guide. Our guide, K. Baan, was great and showed us how to watch out for leeches which turned out to be a real issue. Tuck your shirt.... more »
I love this national park. So much to explore and easy jungle tracks available. Also nice visitor centre with some food options and a cafe is located there. You can spot various animals (elephants, monkeys, deer, all kinds of insects, Gibbons, crocodiles, turtles, ...). I would recommend to go there as early as possible just when the gates open. Then you have the best chance to experience the jungle alone and spot many animals. Also the temperature will be much lower then in the middle of the day. Waterfalls are also nice, but tend to get crowded with local Thai tourists during the weekend. Especially impressive during rainy season!
Beautiful park. Friendly for both families looking a chill strolls and people looking for more rough experience with camping. Do check season as rainy and dry season might offer different experience both enjoyable. Lots of easy trails that you can do without a guide. There are food inside the park but choice are limited. The visitor center will offer you a map of all different routes.
