Discover over five centuries of watchmaking history at Patek Philippe Museum, which houses a large collection of fine timepieces and related mechanisms created from the 16th century up to the present day. Founded by one of Switzerland's leading watch manufacturers, the museum devotes a great deal of attention to the brand's own luxury products, with a special focus on modern precision pieces and lavish 19th-century pocket watches. The antique collection looks beyond the brand's best products and traces the evolution of timekeeping with displays of the finest examples of Swiss-made watches, musical automata, and portrait miniatures painted on enamel. • This is not just a museum for Patek Phillips but also a history on Time itself! What an amazing collection. Expertly arranged in the chronological order from the Sun to the most complex watch, Calibre...  more »
  • I haven't visited it, it's definitely going to be beautiful. All of Geneva was covered with posters that recalled the 100 years of something about Patek: therefore guaranteed and, above all, not unexpected. Groups, evidently with the ticket, who were sticking around. Seventy meters outside the door (plus the one inside, on the stairs etc.), advancing 5 meters in a quarter of an hour, we went away. It is disconcerting how superficially and menefreghism is regulated the turnout at one of the most important museums in this city. Shameful.

  • If you are a watch enthusiast then this place is a must-go! The attention to detail given inside the museum is out of this world. Get ready to spend all the time available(4hours). Simply incredible!
  • Not an enthusiast when it comes to watchmaking but visited the museum on a rainy day. The museum has strange hours. We arrived at opening time and there was a line (about a 15 minute wait.) The museum is packed with clocks, watches, etc. After about 20 minutes into the visit I became bored. You can only look at the same things with different designs for so long. The museum does require any bags to be left in locker that are $2 euro but is refunded upon the conclusion of the visit. I would recommend for a rainy day. Otherwise, enjoy the beauty of the city.
