The Barcelona Taste is this city’s first tapas tour dedicated completely to Barcelona’s food and drink. Accept no imitations even if they've copied our name! Yes, we’ve gained weight since we started. What of it? We love cuisine. We love Barcelona. We love tours. Nay, we love food tours.

So, escape the Ramblas. Exit the Boqueria. And take a break from cheering on Barça in Camp Nou. It’s time to step off the beaten path for two hours. And, more importantly, it’s time to eat some food.

Yes, it’s time to eat a variety of tasty tapas tidbits from Catalonia and the Mediterranean, wash them down with a selection of beverages, and learn about Barcelona’s diverse culinary culture, all while discovering some of the city’s hidden food establishments.

Join The Barcelona Taste on a two to three hour eating exploration of the culinary treasures hidden in neighborhoods like The Gothic Quarter (El Gótico), Poble Sec, Barceloneta, and El Raval.

  • A terrific tapas tour great night. My wife and I took the taste Barcelona cultural tapas & wine walking tour on the 3rd of September 2019. We are mature aged well travelled Australians however this is our first visit to Spain. We could not have asked for a better, more interesting or unique introduction to Spain and Barcelona than this informative walking tour. Taste Barcelona focuses on exclusive small group tours of up to 8 people. On this occasion we were lucky enough be the only customers so enjoyed a private tour. Paul, our guide and the driving force behind Taste Barcelona, was knowledgeable, informative & engaging and talked of Spain's history and cultural background as we were introduced to Barcelona & Tapas. We spent a great 5 hours covering four differing neighbourhoods and sampling a delightful range of local tapas and wines. A particular highlight was meeting the owner of the final stop on our tour.. A wine store.. Bodega that has been in his family for generations.. The Cava we sampled was excellent and his music was great. Paul kept us entertained the whole evening and we'd like to think we left more as friends than as customers. We have no hesitation in recommending Taste Barcelona Cultural Tapas & Wine walking tour to novice & experienced travellers alike.. Paul's country of birth will kerp you guessing.. Thanks again Paul.
  • An amazing experience! The perfect balance between food, wine, culture, and conversation. Paul was very informative and explained what we were eating and drinking. The variety of tapas was excellent and very tasty. We left quite full with a decent wine buzz (in other words, you will be fed and served well). He also covered some history and geography and told us about the 3 different neighborhoods we ate/drank in during the 5-hour tour. We only had 6 people in our group (Paul keeps it under 8 people or so to keep the groups small for a more intimate experience). Everyone got along very well and the group, sans Paul, ended up staying at the last place where we drank Cava, and conversed over 2 more bottles. I highly recommend booking this tour if you are looking for a great introduction to tapas, Spanish wines (white, rose, red, and cava), and some Barcelona (and Spanish) history. My wife and I did this tour on our 3rd day in Barcelona so don't feel like you need to do it right when you get there. We were introduced to new foods and wines that we did not have the first couple days we were in Barcelona. Book it! You won't be disappointed. Thanks, Paul :)
