  • This museum is packed with information and artifacts. The exhibits are displayed with wonderful lighting. The audio guide was hard to follow at times. But worth seeing area artifacts and unique histor...  more »
  • The building was built between 1927 and 1929 by architects Pelai Martínez i Paricio and Raimon Durán i Reynals for the 1929 World's Fair. It was the former Palace of Graphic Arts and was to be demolished but remained standing and from 1935 it became the current museum. To suit staff I was a little disappointed by lack of information and parts. I expected more. The museum can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 to 19 hours and on Sundays from 10 to 14:30 for a value of 5.50 euros.

  • BEST MUSEUM, EVER! To find this quiet and unassuming gem on the edge of Barcelona, away from the maddening crowds, was a delight. Blissful, air conditioned tranquility. And the ancient artifacts from the very earliest ages of humanity were so thoughtfully curated. I felt as though I learned a lot today, despite having visited many such museums in the past. This is probably the best museum dealing with early humanity I've ever seen. Sure, other museums may have more artifacts or the odd superstar attraction but this is definitely a case of less is more. We spent two hours here with a 5 year old girl before visiting the Miro gallery. Amazing. And, the virtual reality was fantastic! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
  • Gorgeous place, so serene. Would highly recommend. There is a cute lite bar that serves nice cocktails and great nibbles at a reasonable price. Have a cocktail with a great view!!
