  • The building was built between 1927 and 1929 by architects Pelai Martínez i Paricio and Raimon Durán i Reynals for the 1929 World's Fair. It was the former Palace of Graphic Arts and was to be demolished but remained standing and from 1935 it became the current museum. To suit staff I was a little disappointed by lack of information and parts. I expected more. The museum can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 to 19 hours and on Sundays from 10 to 14:30 for a value of 5.50 euros.

  • The area is a difficult place to visit, but it was a good way to get to know the history of the historic city along the Mediterranean Sea. Although it is a maniac content mainly in the Roman alphabet fee.... The building itself was very beautiful and i was excited to get inside.

  • This museum is probably the least challenging from all museums I visited in Barcelona. The lightning is very poor, video material is scarce and old school, bilingual and English descriptions missing, display and curation of the artefacts from the 70s-80s, little storage space available for visitors bags, toilet hidden in the back of the museum, no discounts for journalists or library card owners. The only positive thing was the guide, a lovely young lady, knowledgeable and energetic. She gave a great free tour of the Catalan Castles.
  • Very beautiful location and excellent collection. The audio tour was difficult for me to understand at the beginning- so one should get that checked at the reception itself. Also because the whole museum is only in Spanish. The collection is good and display is neat too. For the price of the ticket at 6 Euros- it was a very good experience. The setting of this museum is in a beautiful area which can be explored for a long time.
