  • I casually gave this beautiful house when I went to Parq del Turo, and without going to visit the museum I took some pictures of this interesting museum.

  • Pere Company i Molins and his spouse commissioned the construction of this House the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, who conducted the work in 1911. In 1940 it was acquired by a gynecologist who turned the place into a clinic. At that time almost all the original interior (excluding the chimney) is lost by the remodelling carried out Santiago Marco Urrutia. Today it hosts the Museum and centre of studies of the sport Melchor Colet.

  • In 1982 Dr. Colet donated to the Generalitat de Catalunya the farm where he had his doctor's office to operate a museum and a study centre dedicated to the world of sports. It Is located in the Eixample district. It Occupies an isolated house of modernist style projected in 1911 by Puig I Cadafalch. Currently The museum collection has several pieces and photographs with sporting themes, especially objects related to Catalan sport as: trophies of Ricardo Zamora, football Medals of the championships of Catalonia, the soccer ball signed by The players of the final of 1942 and regulations and paintings of the Spanish Gymnasium of 1862. It Also has exhibits that refer to the Olympics (torches and medals), as well as mascots and pieces from different Olympic athletes from Catalonia.
