  • Extensive "collection of collections". Mr. Mars, apart from being an excellent sculptor (in the museum there is some sample of his sculptures, but very few) was an obsessive of collecting things, in a big way, and the museum is basically a collection of collections, of canes, of stamps, of virgins, of Christs crucified, smoking papers, glasses, and thousands and thousands of other Cuotidian objects. The visit can last hours and hours, and it's impressive.

  • Free with Gaudir Month card! If you like religion or you are a practitioner you will like a lot, as it is full of virgins and religious symbols. If you're an atheist or you pass religion you're not going to like it.

  • Interesting museum with a large collection of religious statues and artwork. Upstairs is his personal collection which was astounding. Millions of items from keys to menus, mini figurines, cigars, hand fans, clocks, etc. If you go on Sundays after 15:00 admission is free.
  • Amazing collection of beautiful objects including religious sculptures, fans, pottery, metalwork and textiles. The cool, quiet interior of the museum was a welcome and peaceful break from the busy streets outside. There are such a variety of items on display and the old display cabinets themselves are lovely, I found myself intrigued by items I didn't even think I would be interested in. I just wish there had been a bit more interpretation in the upper floors so I knew what some of the more obscure things were or when pieces dated from.
