Estadi Olimpic, Barcelona

Estadi Olimpic served Barcelona twice for big international events: Once in 1929, for the World’s Fair, and more famously for the 1992 Summer Olympics. It held over 67,000 people then. If you’ve come to see one of the top-level European soccer matches here, you’ll also want to check out the views; the stadium overlooks the city’s harbor. You can visit for free when there’s no event happening. Put Estadi Olimpic on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Barcelona vacation builder website .

  • Great views from its site but not much to see as it was built in 1992 so dated and lots of concrete. Nice to visit and see the stadium n imagine all the events there in the Olympics. Concerts are held there now but when we went nothing happening just a vast empty place
  • Great place to stop and see if you have any interest in sports or the Olympics. The park is kept up nicely and offers great views of the city. There's a museum of the Olympics if you want to learn more, and there is also an access point to a gondola near the area.
