  • The Museum closes at 6 pm, arrived on the scene at 16:35, impossible to buy tickets online. From 16:30, the sale is over. So we bought tickets for the next day and the visit took us 50 minutes... While we did all the floors and expos. The fact that Van Gogh had a brief career as an artist does may not expose a lot of material... I found that there was little exhibited works, more than some bathrooms put forward of the tables of "inspirations". However, the tables presented, who normally have inspired him, date of the 20th and 21st century for most... So inconsistent since the artist died at the end of the 19th century. I expect to know more about himself and about the artist. Exhibitions remain "on the surface", there is room to deliver more on the man and his accomplishments, that's for sure. For € 18, frankly, I wouldn't stay again.

  • "Extraordinary art of the ordinary things". Brilliant paintings by Van Gogh, mostly art of country life. However, there is a huge queue for tickets. Thus it is highly recommended to buy tickets online to avoid almost an hour long queue in busy time. Would recommend to use hearing device in the museum that would cost 5 euros.
  • Great place for families. My kids did the treasure hunt which was fun, educational and appropriate in content. Artwork, of course, was beautiful. Watch your kids closely because there is nothing to stop them from reaching the paintings other than a horizontal bumper that can be stepped over.
