  • The organ park for ten years is located in the former Park Church to the Vondelpark. The name says it all: the organ is central. The orgelpark has meanwhile developed into an innovative concert stage of world renown and a Research Centre for the instrument organ is called. A musical instrument with pipes so, which wind up sounding. Here is also made visible that the organ has developed over the centuries and that look different and sound different organs there, according to their origin. So are there in this building a German romantic organ by the firm Sauer (this organ was originally all in this church), a French symphonic organ, ideal for the music of Franck, Widor and Vierne, a Gothic organ for the music from the middle ages, and recently a large Baroque organ in the style of the instruments to which Johann Sebastian Bach played. The Sauer-organ and it also can be played through a Baroque organ Utopa digital gaming table that special sound effects can be produced. All very exciting and truly innovative. Nothing dusty organ music so on this place. The building has an equally distinguished and festive look. Downstairs is a bar serving coffee, tea, wine and beer.
