  • The national Holocaust Museum may not be the most amusing getaway you can think of. It is an impressive museum with a story to be told. I got the stories about the Second World War of my grandmother and parents with me. At the schools I will and hope these stories are also told. When you walk around in the museum, you will read personal stories of people who have not survived the war by the madness of that time. It is informative and intrusive. Six million people have not survived the war to be of Jewish descent. This story must be passed, this should never happen again. With the same entrance ticket you can visit four more impressive locations. We have also been to the Hollandsche Schouwburg, from there the Jews were deported. For us, that was enough for this day. We will certainly return, because this must not be forgotten, it should never happen again

  • This museum is still in process, according to them. Very somber seeing some of the art and informational displays about children who were taken and executed during the Holocaust. They have plenty of nice, clean, bathrooms, and good information provided in Dutch and English. The only recommendation I have is there needs to be a way for the crowds to move. The rooms are quite small and is pretty much free move so sometimes I’m squeezing through people just to read some info
  • Very small museum but you can use your ticket again at 4 other places so well worth the price. Terrible, beautiful and very moving. I knew the statistics before but this gives you the human cost with personal stories mainly about children. Harrowing but necessary. Everyone should visit. I applaud your work.
