  • Interactivity is an integral feature of many Dutch museums, and in the House-museum Bartolotti It is very well realized. It is the home of a wealthy citizen, and you can look inside and even feel a little in his life. In the museum you can touch everything, open all the cabinets, set on the table (porcelain utensils are very interesting and beautiful, with old recipes), scroll through the books and decompose the cards, and even lie on the bed in the bedroom. The caretakers-very nice ladies, answer all the questions, talk with you, treat with grape juice and freshly brewed coffee. Coffee is served in the kitchen, someone in the review wrote that it looks like a kitchen from the series "Abbey Dainton"-Well, there is a little)) but here in the kitchen is a lot of light. In general, a very unusual museum, the ticket is better to book on-line, with a reservation of time, you will be welcomed)) the cost of 8 euros

  • What a beautiful house, one room is even nicer and more fun than the other. The audio tour worked perfectly!! And the fun was that you could open all the doors, leaves, etc., sitting on all the chairs to listen quietly. We even got a delicious glass of grape juice from a beautiful, lovely Glas, and in the jealously making beautiful kitchen a cup of tea or coffee of your choice. So but, heard it there.! Friendly "Administrators"-volunteers who had answers to all questions and still had additional things. In short, more than super!!

  • It was very nice to see inside one of these big houses on the canal. The gentlemen there were very kind. You can look in all the cupboards, garden, etc. The short audio tour was decent. Worth a few euros for a history lesson. We spent a bit more than 30 minutes there.
  • Interesting place, staff very knowledgeable, electronic guides available. Garden area at the back very calm and peaceful. Drinks available in the old kitchen. Lots of original features although much of the house now converted to offices. €8 entrance fee a little expensive considering fees in other museums but happy to pay to keep the house open. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
