I had to persuade my husband to go in here, he's not the most closed;-) But inside then, this loving décor and the exceedingly nicely arranged plants and then the food that-all kept in the smaller frame-were consistently delicious, no: Over-delicious and soooo good! My husband had a "Soep van de dag," namely a fish soup, perfectly served with finger bowl-ins, and I was allowed to enjoy a focaccia met Geitenkaas, Honing en grilled peppers ... Hmmmm.... I felt like I was in a movie setting of my own. The nice and beautiful controls did the rest. This is where I always want to go when I'm in Amsterdam! A sense of "beautiful film" and guarded hospitality. Thank you for this experience in Amsterdam. We love capital Zeppos < 3
Nous avons dîné dans ce restaurant mon mari et moi. The setting is nice, the restaurant is in a green alley (it is probably very nice to have a drink on the terrace in the summer, under the roof of Wisteria) the Interior is nice, but the whole is very noisy. The waiters are kind and the service fast but the food fro. My husband took the harrengs, it is actually an entrance and not a dish and it was far from being transcendent. On my side I took a vegetarian plate, not bad but a little insipid. We came out of there far from being Repus, we did not take any dessert because the hubbub ended up being deafening.
I like this place that I discovered just walking without destination. It's a bit hided and perfect to get away from the crowd. Just a nice vintage curiosity bar. Beer choice is just fine. Possibility to rent apart spaces. Didn't tried the food. We see that people likes to work there. Perfect for a last drink before to hit the bed.
Very cozy place, friendly staff, great atmosphere and good food for a decent price. Has an authentic feel to it, boosted by its somewhat hidden location. Definitely worth checking out👌
