  • It's a super nice market but BEWARE! Before you know it, you make an ugly trap, because there are pits, gravel, rails, sloping pieces and so on. I have gone through an ugly trap and already weeks out of the rotation my back and knee and arm everything stretched and heavily crushed ambulance there and luckily nothing broken but now walk with doctors in the hospital, unfortunately my day and that of my son and friend was corrupted D Ear all this while I was constantly watching. No day out of money away and home, with a lot of pain! You can't count down to look down! I think that there should be more safety for visitors; On dangerously hard-opened pieces to lay rubber sizes! As a consumer, you can certainly expect a little more safety.

  • Great way to spend a day in Amsterdam. Take the tram to Centraal Station, and hop on the NDSM ferry (for free!). Vendors for miles, both inside and out. €5 entrance well worth the price. Coffee, poffe...  more »

  • We were lucky enough to be in town while the market was open. It's a huge outdoor market that you need a few good hours to go through. It felt like it's 60% clothes, but there are a lot of cool finds, vintage stuff, metal and woodworking tools. There are a few food trucks at one spot. Entrance is €5, you can go in and out as you like as long as they stamp your hand when you go out. BRING CASH. There's only one ATM in the area and the line is really long.
  • This is one of the most innovative ideas ever! The Netherlands standing out in innovation and sustainability. A port and storage area is being turned into a fabulous kind of fair to open space for emerging business of different kinds. Containers used now as street stands for shops be is just stunning. No better way of expanding Amsterdam could have adopted.
