House On The Three Canals Reviews
Ничего особенного в этом здании нет - просто хорошо сохранившийся дом. Специально к нему идти не стоит. more »There is nothing special about this building - just a well-preserved house. You shouldn't go to him specifically.
Прекрасно сохранившееся здание конца 16 века,тремя фасадами обращенное на три канала.Здание с двумя этажами построено из красного кирпича и заканчивается двускатной крышей, под которой ютится небольшо... more »A beautifully preserved building of the late 16 century, three façades facing the three channel building with two floors built from red brick and ends with a gable roof, underneath which lurks a small attic outbuilding. Cannot but draw attention to the high window portals, painted in white and closing in bright red wooden shutters. In General, the House on three canals in Amsterdam is a classic example of Renaissance construction. I liked the quality of the restoration of the building, the Dutch can preserve historical objects
Definitely, it is not one of Small Luxury Hotels And this is why. Rooms are not properly air conditioned. A receptionist told us that the reason behind is that the hotel is located in a historical building. There was unpleasant smell inside our room and it was not removed by a stationary conditioner. Some refurbishment is badly needed, our room looked «tired». Everything is combined here - the kitchen is combined with the restaurant, the reception is combined with the bar (not a cozy one, frankly speaking), and the shower stands open and is combined with the room. Not everyone likes this. Our room had a wall view (!) - not nice at all. There were mosquitoes during the night, not a pleasant experience either. The breakfast is scarce, only cold meals and drinks are included - one has to pay extra for a warm dish. Canal House boasts a very nice inner garden however, but very few guests have time to relax inside (with no drinks provided) during a short stay. Disappointed. No intention to come back.
Really good location, access to most sightseeing places. Hotel is great. Difficult if elderly to get up stairs. Great staff. Enjoyed our stay here. Our view from room was not nice as it overlooked a wall. Other rooms had beautiful views of canal. Nice gardens to relax in.
