He profits from the Hermitage brand and promotes blood ties between the royal houses of Orange and the Romanovs and his headquarters in San Petersburg. I don't advise to go. The best: The cafeteria in the park and the merchandising business.
The 10-year anniversary exhibition "De Schatkamer / Treasury" is outstanding. I loved the idea of pairing two works of art from different periods / geographical areas, and comparing them for apparent similarities and differences. Really well curated and explained (with a special mention for the audio guide).
I was just passing by, but I caught a glance at the magnificent iron scrap welded sculptures. I had to walk around the yard examining the amazing details with my eyes from all sides. Beautiful pieces of art.
