He kept an eye on all the preparation times, and could tell everything about the ingredients and the dishes. Much lit up! It was incredibly fun and interesting to make these beautiful dishes. And also: It was great to eat them afterwards! As if we were in a chic restaurant! This can only be because of the generous culinary knowledge of Leo, and the extensive preparation. It was a very successful evening. If you are looking for a fun and enjoyable activity with a group, I can heartily recommend the Cook Your Life cooking workshop! Thank you Leo!
My best friend and I visited Amsterdam for the first time last October. I live to travel and I travel to eat so naturally I set out to find a unique experience that would teach us the ins and outs of ... more »
Leo takes care of an intimate atmosphere and imbues himself with the people he welcomes. All forms are possible: a poetry dinner with a large group to a night out for two people. Varied dishes. Educational but also a relaxed atmosphere.
Poetic Dinner | 29 June 2018 The atmosphere is quiet, serene. The guests chat relaxed with each other, our look is full of expectation. The kitchen is working hard but the kitchen brigade also seems relaxed. Everything is under control. Bea dribbles around the table. She promises poetry and also a number of excerpts from novels to nominate. Obviously the subject is eating. But it will also go on love. Delicious! We feel like it. When we sit at the table, we hear that it was made of the same wood. An age-old wood species that would possess bound forces. Leo tells that eating and cooking is stimulating and can bring people closer together. That promises what! Since it is summer we eat a lot of vegetables, says Leo. One after another masterpiece is served. We taste among others soft beet cream, tomatoes with burrata, carrots, asparagus with mushrooms, edible flowers, bison, capuchins, horseradish, rhubarb and strawberries. Delighted cries are flying over the table. With a sparkle in her eyes, Bea wears endearing, sometimes funny stanzas. We are touched and hung on her lips. After the last dish we still chat animated and we are amazed at all the beauty we have seen, tasted and heard. The age-old table has done its job.
