At Body Worlds, explore exhibits of real specimens of human bodies. Anatomically positioned in space, the presentations reveal the complexity, resilience, and vulnerability of the body. You will see translucent body slices, organs, and plastinates--remains that have been preserved and kept in positions that reflect daily activities, including playing the saxophone, riding a horse, and dancing. Since their first appearance in 1995, these controversial expositions have attracted 40 million visitors worldwide. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Amsterdam trip simple and quick.

Body Worlds Reviews
Erg interessant, teksten bij alles geven een duidelijke uitleg. Ook voor kinderen leerzaam. Niets lugubers aan. Prima ruimtes, prettige medewerkers. more »Very interesting, texts at all give a clear explanation. Also for children instructive. Nothing lugubers to. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

But you should take a lot of time for everything and also borrow an audio Guid (3,-) it makes sense, so that you also understand the exhibits, which they are explained in writing only in English and Dutch and because you get a lot of information. The exhibition is very instructive with great plastinates. The sound of the film about laughter therapy could be a little quieter for me but otherwise everything was just great!
I really enjoyed this exhibition. I'm quite confident that even those without much interest in medical matters will thoroughly enjoy a visit here. All age groups are catered for. It's an educational and fun outing for the entire family. All the exhibits are very tastefully arranged, are so interesting and there is so much to learn. What made it especially enjoyable was that the staff were all very kind and that the entire exhibition was visitor-focused. They focused on how to enhance your experience in even small ways and that is something that I appreciated.
Fantastic and amazing place to visit and enjoy the great experience with very well preserved human bodies and organs for demonstration. This place is very well organized and designed as well as illustrated by the donated human bodies which show many ways of life including harmful effects of alcohol consumption and tobacco use, cancer and the beautiful blood vessels dissecting techniques. They show various systems of human including nervous system, cardiovascular system, etc. Very easy to understand with the hilarious illustrations and descriptions. PS Dear Body Worlds staff, We tried everything inside including body scan, swinging on a swing like that beautiful lady demonstration, mood recognition etc. Many thanks for your hospitality and warm welcome. So much appreciated, fun and enjoy ourselves. Hope we can be there again.
