Ariette and Jack van Osnabrugge invite you into their unique modern canalhouse on the Bloemgracht in the middle of the Jordaan, heart of Amsterdam. With the same care they put into their work as designers

( http://vanosnabrugge.com ), they created a studio apartment on the ground floor of the building.

The apartment has a private entrance. In the front is the kitchen with dining/reading table. In the middle part is the compact bathroom with toilet, shower and sink and at the back is the bedroom with sitting area. There is also the entrance to the garden with pond. The studio has an LCD TV and WiFi.

Studio Bloemgracht is situated in a unique location for guests who demand a first class experience.

In short; a wonderful base for exploring the city and the ideal residence during a vacation or business trip. All in the heart of the city.

  • This is the quintessential Amsterdam canal. Tree lined and very beautiful. We saw it at night and it was all lit up.  more »
  • It is a small canal near Anne Frank's house. The everyday scenery of Amsterdam spreads out, and tourists are few.

  • Bloemgracht is a small canal that links Prinsengracht to Lijnbaansgracht in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam. We recently stayed at Mr. Jordaan Hotel and had a room with a view of this quiet and attractive canal just outside the famous Canal Ring. Bloemgracht is lined well with trees next to the water, while the streets on both sides are where you will find mostly residential buildings, occasional hotels, art galleries, bike rental shops and restaurants. The small bridges which cross the canal provide lovely photographs. You see bicycles parked along the rails, parked canal boats and much less waterway traffic than the larger Grachtengordel canals nearby. In the end, tranquility prevails in spots like Bloemgracht and the other parallel canals that run through the district of Jordan. While not a priority from a sightseeing perspective, these canals are easy to enjoy, particularly if you prefer quieter areas with less tourists and automobile traffic.
