Buy fruits, vegetables, sweets, and clothes at Albert Cuyp Market, the largest street market in the capital city. Following a tradition since 1904, vendors in 300 stalls sell a wide range of products bursting with colors and smells. You can get anything from fish and cameras to makeup and spices. In addition, the prices are usually lower than at regular shops. Look for typical products from Africa and the Middle East, and quench your thirst at some of the numerous ethnic cafes and bars that surround the market. • We took a leap into this market and found several things at good prices to take souvenir. There are stalls of all kinds and even was there where we tested the herring with gherkins (haring), poffertjes and the Stroopwafels.

  • The traditional market in Amsterdam, there are many things to buy, many of the famous representative of the Netherlands snacks are found here, such as caramel cakes, French fries and so on. You can also buy a letter here. Because it is the market, so there are vegetables, fruits, seafood and so can be bought, suitable to cook their own people.

  • This market is one the unique market within the Netherlands or Amsterdam. It's like a typical street market and is very lively. It attracts a nice crowd from all walks of life. It is open from Monday to Saturday and is closed on Sunday. It's opening time is from 9AM to 5PM. You may get some nice deals in clothes and other stuff. Full Roasted chicken that you can buy here is also good.
  • One of the coolest street markets I've seen. So many vendors selling everything you can think of and many great places to eat. Our favorite was the grilled cheese guys, definitely get the oregano chicken one if you stop in there!
