The historic Steveston Heritage Fishing Village was once nicknamed "Salmonopolis" for its 45 canneries and huge salmon production. Now, it’'s a beautiful and picturesque old town, in which one can explore shops peddling an array of goods, from handcrafted trinkets by local artists to fresh produce at the local farmer's market.
