  • A journey through the history of art. Walking through the Albertina museum is like walking inside an art history book, at the end of each room you are convinced that nothing can surprise us anymore, except then find another unexpected painting or author in the next. Henri Matisse, Paul Signac, Claude Monet, Amedeo Modigliani, Paul Cezanne, Paul Gauguin, Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Rene Magritte, Joan Mirò, Max Ernst, Marc Chagall, Wassily Kandinsky, Oskar Kokoschka, Edward Munch, Paul Klee, Gustav Klimt. To name a few. More than this list I think you can not say anything else in a review, if you happen to happen in Vienna it must be a stage to do.

  • Actually, with the first two words in the title everything is said! Excellent museum with art "almost" to touch. Wonderful rooms not only for the grandiose picture exhibition, but also the staterooms alone would be worth a visit! Since you can't see everything in one day, there will be more visits.

  • Currently on exhibit From Monet to Picasso exhibition is very well worth visiting. Detailed explanations of art movements, historical events, descriptions of paintings. Enjoyed it a great deal! The other exhibitions were not something that interested me at all, so i cannot comment.
  • Exceptional art museum. French impressionist, surrealist and modern art. Unbelievable print collection. Beautiful restaurant with a stunning terrace. A must stop in Vienna.
